What does the Balcony Cleaning Service Include?

Balcony cleaning typically includes pressure washing or deep scrubbing the balcony floor, removing dirt buildup, cleaning railings and glass panels, and removing mold, mildew, moss, or pigeon droppings. At BalcoScrub we provide professional balcony deep cleaning for condo balconies across Vancouver to restore outdoor spaces and make them usable again.

The balcony deep clean covers: walls, floor, railings, balcony windows exterior, frames, balcony doors (interior + exterior). Service is estimated to take 2-3 hours. The only thing not included is ceilings because water retention would not be possible.

How much does balcony cleaning cost in Vancouver?

The cost of balcony cleaning in Vancouver depends on the balcony size. In exteme cases, balconies with heavy dirt, mold, or pigeon droppings may require service addons.

Do I need to notify Strata or neighbors?

No, we specialize in Strata Compliant cleaning so there is no impact to neighbors or Strata. Just book an appointment and be amazed with the results.

Do I need to remove things from my balcony?

We kindly ask that items be removed from the balcony prior to our arrival, if you wish us to clean certain items, it's an add-on to the service and dependent on quantity/scope.

Is Junk Removal services offered?

Yes, if your balcony has items that you would like to be removed (popular for staging balcony cleans), we can bundle that service with the deep clean. The cost will be dependent of quantity and labour involved.

What does the crew need from the client?

A clear path from the entrance of the unit to the balcony and another path from the balcony to a bathroom. The bathroom access grants water access for the pressure washer and access to dispose of dirty water.

The crew will be arriving with a cart with equipment so the space near the balcony doors also needs to be cleared.

Do I need to be home during the service?

That’s entirely up to you! The crew just needs access to enter the unit. Some clients choose to let the crew in and then they leave for 2-3 hours and return when the service is completed.

How and when do I pay for the service?

Clients can prepay or pay for the service upon completion via an e-transfer, cash payment or credit card. To secure a booking, a credit card will be required for the cancellation/re-scheduling policy. The policy is: $50 for 48-96 hours, 50% for 24-48 hours, 100% for less than 24hours, no exception as the slot was taken up from another client .

Do you clean patio furniture on balconies?

Yes. In addition to balcony cleaning, we also offer patio furniture cleaning as a service addon so clients can fully enjoy their outdoor space.

Do you clean balcony floorboards?

Yes. Many balconies have removable floorboards or deck tiles that trap dirt underneath. Our service can remove debris and clean the surface beneath as a service addon.

Do you remove moss from balconies?

Yes. Moss can grow on balcony surfaces in wet climates like Vancouver. BalcoScrub removes moss and organic growth during our balcony deep cleaning process.
